ING Events started with a simple idea:

People crave real connection — not just digital ones.

After years of watching singles feel burned out by dating apps and couples get stuck in boring routines, we knew there had to be a better way. So we created it. Ing Events offers unforgettable, curated experiences — from kayaking to brewery tours, cooking classes to hiking adventures — where singles and couples can meet, mingle, and make memories. No awkward matchmaking. No forced small talk. Just shared adventures, real conversations, and the kind of moments you'll actually remember. Hi, I’m Laurene, the founder of ING Events.

I created Ing Events because, like so many singles, I was tired of the pressure, rejection, and endless disappointment of online dating.

As a single mom, I didn’t have the time — or the money — to waste on another wrong date at yet another bar or coffee shop. I wanted more: a real chance to get out, do something I loved, and meet real people naturally.

When I finally found an event company that offered in-person experiences, I thought I'd found the solution — until I saw the fine print. Lengthy applications. Yearly membership fees. Monthly dues. Extra fees for every event. Why did finding someone have to feel so exclusive, expensive, and stressful? There had to be a better way.

So, I built one.

Ing Events was created to take the pressure off finding someone and bring the fun back into it. You’ll never see promises like “meet someone in three months or your money back” here. Because the truth is, connection shouldn’t be rushed — and nobody should feel like they're "failing" if it takes a little time.

Whether you meet someone at your first event or six months from now, you're still doing what matters most: living, laughing, and connecting on your terms.
